Change happens. Sometimes it’s forced on us. Sometimes we look in the mirror and know we want more – more of our jobs, more for our family, more for ourselves.
Sometimes change is good. Sometimes change results from something bad but can be used for Good. Either way, change happens and when you’re ready to face the changes that need to be made, I have the experience, knowledge, skill, and caring heart to help you attain your goals faster and more joyfully than you could on your own.
Areas You May Enjoy Be Coached In:
Love & Marriage:
Whether you’re entering a new Marriage or struggling in your existing Marriage, discovering who you’ll be a year from now and how to build stronger relationships makes a world of difference. The old saying, “If Mama ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy!” has value.
Don’t lose yourself. Don’t throw your relationship away to find yourself. Bloom where you’re planted. Discover a new you, and a new husband as you see your Man with new eyes. Look forward to tomorrow, and find Joy and Love in places you never thought to look.
Pregnancy & Parenting:
From the moment that second line creeps across the pregnancy stick, you know your life will never be the same. Whether it’s your first or your fifth, planned by you or planned by God, that new little life will take hold of your heart and change your home. As your life coach, I can help you enjoy these fleeting, precious newborn moments before they disappear.
Later, as that sweet bundle of Joy develops his own will, we face bumps along our path and would appreciate someone (other than our mother-in-laws!) coaching us through. I have experience working with Mothers of children needing extra care through illness or behavioral issues, potty training and the “terrible” twos, obstinate grade schoolers, rebellious teens, and college students who suddenly seems to need you less.
As the Mom of five, I’ve been through many ups and downs of parenting, and even with great kids, it helps to have someone to talk through the intricacies of parenting and discover the answers and boundaries within us.
No one can pretend to “fix” the loss of a child. In the end, your child will still be gone. No one can change that. If I could have, I would have “fixed” the death of my own preborn Baby almost 20 years ago.
What I offer is the chance to move forward after your intense grief has been spent, to recognize yourself as a Good parent no matter how brief your earthly parenting was, to help you continue to parent your child through prayer, and to help you set new goals and move forward with your own life as God intends you to do.
College/Young Adult Transitions:
Imagine if you had someone to help you articulate dreams, to give purpose to the tens of thousands of dollars and several years of your life spent in college, to walk you through that less than ideal relationship that you just can’t say no to. Imagine if you had someone trusted, knowledgable, and without her own agenda to really be there for you?
Transitioning from high school to college and into adulthood is thrilling and frightening for both parents and young adults alike. Lecturing doesn’t work. Delivering, “When I was younger…” stories doesn’t help. Coaching does.
When you are asked thoughtful questions by someone who understands and allowed to come up with your own answers, you’re more likely to avoid costly mistakes and come to exciting, healthier conclusions faster than you could on your own.
Allow me to smooth the transition to adulthood through self exploration, goal identification, and empowerment exercises!
Whether you’re moving to a new location and need help organizing the move, forming new connections, and making friends or you would like to set boundaries in dating, family relationships, or friendships, I provide you with a non-judgmental, third party allowing you to talk out goals and test new methods of skillfully and politely asserting yourself while meeting people where they’re at.
Divorce & Single Parenting:
Few experiences shatter your world like divorce. Few challenges last as long or are as strenuous day in and day out as single parenting. While you’re in the midst of it, it may seem like there’s no light at the end of the tunnel, but it’s been said the light is not the illusion, the tunnel is.
As your coach, I’ve seen the tunnel and the Light and can help you put one foot in front of the other and move toward your dreams again. I can help you find your self worth, rediscover who you are meant to be, and experience Joy in the every day.
Deciding to becoming a stay at home Mom, entering or reentering the workforce, starting your own business or thinking of retiring all signify a change in time commitments, change in finances, change in relationships and connections, and change in attitude. Help yourself smooth out the bumps and plan for a prosperous rewarding future by exploring options and setting realistic goals with me!

Think Life Coaching could help another area?
You’re probably right! This is just a snapshot of what I have direct, personal experience and/or training in. It’s almost impossible to include all the areas coaching covers in one page.
Let me know your ideas and what you’d like to be coached in, and I’ll let you know if it’s something I can help you with!
*Side Note: Life Coaches do not pretend to have all the answers. If you’re looking for someone to quickly and magically solve problems, life coaching probably won’t work, but continuing on your own path probably won’t work either! 😉
On a serious note, some issues, including those above, are more intense than coaching handles. Coaching looks forward and helps generally stable people reach goals. If you would benefit from looking back to past experiences or if you are in danger physically, emotionally, or spiritually, please seek professional counseling. You will have my prayers.
